Brittney Evans is a Tampa native, a wife, full-time mom and also, employed full-time; trying to turn her dream into her everyday job.
Her brand, B. Lovely by B. Evans, was birthed when she was a child watching the show: “That’s So Raven” where Raven-Symoné was a psychic fashion designer.
Brittney grew up alongside her sisters who were a few dress sizes smaller than she was. Brittney was a teenager, but sometimes had to shop in the women’s department. Fast forward to her life now as a plus-size woman, and she still struggles to find clothes that appeal to her style, in her size, while also dealing with the insecurities of being a bigger woman in today’s society.
“Although we are taught to love ourselves, often times our views are distorted based on what everyone says we’re supposed to look like. But, I truly believe that if you look good, you feel good. Finding the right garment that fits your body can make all the difference in boosting self-confidence. So, it is my mission to make beautiful clothes for myself and other women who sometimes don’t like what they see in the mirror, but love themselves a whole lot more and continue to push through and be bold!
