Lisa Maltese is the founder and designer of Julep Hat Designs, where Southern elegance meets modern millinery artistry. With more than eight years of experience, she creates one-of-a-kind hats and fascinators for the Kentucky Derby, Royal Ascot, international racing events, polo and other special occasions.
Working with materials ranging from sinamay and silk abaca to feathers and hand-formed embellishments, Lisa combines traditional hat-blocking and flower-making techniques with contemporary, sculptural design. Every piece is handcrafted in her studio in downtown New Port Richey, Florida.
